Supporting Galen Cason’s First NYFW Showroom


In September, I had the opportunity to support my friend Galen Cason, a Bay Area–born designer whose work fuses high-fashion silhouettes with city aesthetics, gorpcore influences, and earth-toned palettes.



Strategic Guidance

Our collaboration started well before the showroom. Through weekly consulting calls and ongoing communication, I helped Galen refine his vision and execution plan. Using Milanote, we built moodboards, mapped out showroom displays, and aligned on the atmosphere we wanted the collection to communicate.


Marketing & Audience Growth

To build momentum ahead of NYFW, I:

  • Sourced and managed an ads contractor to run Meta ads targeting relevant audiences.

  • Personally ran native boosts across social to increase awareness.

  • Created two stealth TikTok campaigns, which organically promoted the showroom and garnered 50,000+ views.

  • Directed all traffic to RSVP links on Posh and Partiful, which I hosted and managed, allowing us to:

    • Gather a targeted guest list.

    • Collect attendee information for follow-up marketing.

    • Send event reminders and prepare the foundation for a future newsletter list.


On-Site Support

In the days leading up to the event, I assisted with showroom displays and event setup. I also attended the friends & family pre-event party, where I provided on-site media support.


On the day of the showroom, I was fully on site, providing:

  • Retail support to help manage guest interactions.

  • Content capture and media coverage for ongoing storytelling.

  • A creative spotlight on Galen as a designer, showcasing his vision and the collection’s narrative.
